Lisa Maxx is a Canadian singer/songwriter from Salt Spring Island, the largest of the southern Gulf Islands on the west coast of Canada. A seasoned and accomplished performer, Lisa offers an inspiring and eclectic variety of musical styles; from folk style acoustic roots to classic pop/rock to country, with a sprinkling of blues and jazz thrown in to the mix.

Even though in the midst of her musical career Lisa began living within the confines of a physical disability, she has been unstoppable in striving towards her creative goals. Lisa is a prolific songwriter with a powerful and very personal stage presence, her rich and powerful voice has been described as "an angelic songbird".
